HaloSource Finds $2.2M For Clean Water Efforts

Bothell-based water filtration startup HaloSource announced on Wednesday that it has raised $2.2M in a strategic funding round, to grow its products in the global market. Source of the new funding was not announced. According to HaloSource, the funding comes as it looks to start bringing its own, branded consumer products to market, in the form of drinking water bottles and pitchers. HaloSource previously was providing its technology to OEMs. HaloSource said that it has signed a five year, distribution deal with Chinese e-commerce provider JiuBan Industrial Co., to market its new "astrea" line of water filtration products in China.
