Carbon Black Sets Up Shop In Hillsboro

Cybersecurity software developer Carbon Black, which develops endpoint security tools, said this morning that it has set up a research and development office in Hillsboro, Oregon. According to Carbon Black, the new office will help it bring new products to market. Carbon Black cited Hillsboro's tech talent pool, the existence of major tech companies such as Intel and Yahoo, and the growing venture capital investments in Oregon for its decision to locate the research and development center in Hillsboro. The company said the new office will "help us recruit and retain the great engineering talent in Oregon". Carbon Black is based in Massachusetts.
