Upbound Captures $9M For Cloud Computing

Seattle-based Upbound, a developer of a software platform that allows organizations to deploy their applications across multiple public and private cloud environments, said this week that it has raised $9M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by GV (formerly Google Ventures). Upbound's founder and CEO is Bassam Tabbara. The company said its team developed the Rook project, an open source storage framework used for Kubernetes.
