Urban Airship Gets $25M More

Portland-based Urban Airship, which develops real time notification software, has raised $25M more in a Series F funding, the company said on Thursday. The funding was led by Foundry Group, and also included True Ventures, August Capital, Intel Capital, Verizon Ventures, QuestMark Partners and Franklin Park Associates. The company said it will use the new funds to accelerate its global growth. The company, led by CEO and President Brett Caine, develops software which helps companies implement mobile notifications, web push notifications, email notifications, and much more.
