SEngine Precision Medicine Finds $3M In Funding

Seattle-based SEngine Precision Medicine, a biotech startup developing targeted cancer drugs, said on Monday that it has raised $3M in funding, part of a bigger $8.2M funding effort by the firm. The funding was led by Bangarang Group, along with angel investors. The company also reported that it has added Dr. Leland (Lee) Hartwell to its board. Hartwell was previously President and Director of the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2001 along with two colleagues.
