Treehouse Lands $7M, With New Home In Portland

Online video tutorial and learning startup Treehouse--which apparently set up shop recently in Portland--has a mission, which is to help users learn how to develop their own websites, web applications, iPhone apps, and learn how to code. The firm revealed today that it has raised $7M series B funding round, which was led by Kaplan Ventures and also included the Social+Capital Partnership. Treehouse offers up its video-based training, focused on technical skills like web programming, mobile development, and more.
