Verdiem Ties With McAfee, Signs Cadbury

Seattle-based Verdiem is announcing a link with security software firm McAfee, and also a new customer this morning. According to Verdiem, it has joined a partner program of McAfee's called the Security Innovation Alliance, focused on compatibility testing with McAfee's ePolicy Orchestrator platform. The McAfee link allows McAfee's software to be used to deploy Verdiem's SURVERYOR client software to corporate network. Separately, the firm said that candy and confection firm Cadbury Plc has deployed the firm's product at its U.S. and Canadian businesses. The company said that Cadbury will deploy its product on more than 1,500 of its networked PCs to help reduce PC energy consumption at the firm. Financial impact of that win was not disclosed.
