Vertafore Buys RiskMatch

Bothell-based Vertafore, a developer of insurance technology and software, has acquired RiskMatch, a provider of business intelligence and analytics software for insurance brokers and carriers. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Vertafore said that RiskMatch will operate as a separate business unit, and that Vertafore's Founder and CEO, Kabir Syed, will join the company's executive team as part of the acquisition. RiskMatch was based in Greenwich, Connecticut.
