Virpus Acquired By Cloud Equity Group

Seattle-based Virpus, which provides virtual private server hosting based on the Xen platform, has been acquired by investment management firm Cloud Equity Group. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Cloud Equity Group said Virpus currently provides Xen virtual private server and bare metal cloud hosting out of Seattle, Los Angeles, and Kansas City facilities. Virpus was founded in 2006 by Kenneth Odem and Nicholas Rose.
