Vote iQ Targets Politicians, Groups with Free Pages

Gig Harbor-based Vote iQ, a developer of social networking software for political social networking, said Wednesday that it is making its platform available for free, to any politician and group. According to the firm, it will now allow any politician or advocacy group to set up their own page on the site. The firm said it is aiming to "dramatically lower" the cost of reaching large audiences, and is hoping to make politics more democratic. Vote iQ is headed by James Tisch. The firm's site is also free to users.
