Wave Buys Layer42 Networks

Kirkland-based fiber and broadband service provider Wave> has announced this morning that it has acquired Layer42 Networks, a provider of business Internet connectivity, colocation, and data transport services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Wave said the acquisition will help it extend its footprint in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. The bu adds around 70,000 square feet of colocation facility, and 150 customers.
