WebTrends Grabs Google Exec

WebTrends Inc., a provider of web analytics and online marketing software, reported Monday that it has hired Daniel E. Stickel as chief executive officer. Stickel previously worked for Google Inc., where he managed the search giant's syndication products. Before Google, Stickel led the Macrovision Software Technologies Group and served as executive vice president at AltaVista. He has also co-founded several startups after making his start at Bell Labs. Stickel succeeds Bruce Coleman, who was hired as interim CEO last October. WebTrends is headquartered in Portland, Oregon.
