Zillow Gets Social With Facebook

Seattle-based real estate site Zillow has added more social features to the site, saying today that it has launched a new, social service called Neighborhood Advice. The new feature allows buyers and renters to ask their Facebook friends for information about local neighborhoods. Zillow said that it is using Facebook Connect to allow users to see where their other Facebook friends live or check-in, to get personal tips and advice from those friends. The company said that it looking to make it easier for people to ask friends, family, and co-workers advice on neighborhoods, something that they already do when they are looking to rent or buy a new home.
