Accolade Scores $70M For Healthcare Concierge Service

Seattle-based Accolade, a provider of on-demand, healthcare concierge services which helps employees navigate the health care system, has raised $70M in a Series E funding, the company announced Thursday afternoon. The funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz, and also included Madrona Venture Group and others. The company said the funding goes towards its technology platform, R&D, sales, and marketing. Jeff Jordan of Andreessen Horowitz joins the company's board as a result of the funding; the company says it has now raised more than $90M as part of that Series E, including an earlier $22.5M invested by a subsidiary of Independence Health Group and McKesson Ventures.
