Redfin Debuts New Concierge Service To Handle Cleaning, Painting, Staging

Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin is launching a trial of a new service, which will help homeowners with deep cleaning, painting, staging, and landscaping of a home before a sale. According to Redfin, its brand new Redfin Concierge Service is a trial, and will only be available in LA and Washington D.C., and will be available for a 2 percent listing fee. Redfin normally charges 1 percent for its home selling service. According to the company, the new service will be available only for homes priced at $500,000 or higher, and does not include the buyer's agent commission, which is typically between 2 and 3 percent paid by the seller.
