Amazon Alexa Fund Portfolio Firm, Luma, Acquired By First Alert

Luma, a startup backed by Amazon's Alexa Fund which makes mesh Wi-Fi routers, has reportedly been acquired by Newell, the parent company of smoke detector maker First Alert. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Luma had raised $22M from Amazon Alexa Fund, Andreessen Horowitz, and Google Ventures, and was based in Atlanta, Georgia.
