In its third market expansion since launch, Amazon.com's daily deals site, AmazonLocal, has expanded into the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The site--which initially launched in June--offers up daily deals from partner LivingSocial. AmazonLocal had launched in Boise, Idaho, and recently added Seattle, Bellevue/Eastside, Snohomish County, and Tacoma to its list of cities. The daily deals site competes against daily deals site Groupon, among others.
