Amazon Expands Self Publishing To International Authors, Publishers

Seattle-based Amazon.com is expanding its self publishing tools for the Kindle, saying this morning that it has expanded its program to allow authors to upload and sell their own books to countries beyond the United States. Amazon said that its self-service, Kindle Digital Text Platform (DTP) now supports uploading and selling books in English, German, and French worldwide. The program had previously only been available in the U.S. Amazon said it plans to add additional language options to the program in coming months.
