    Sprint, Clearwire to Merge WiMAX Businesses
    Telecommunications stalwart Sprint Nextel Corp. announced Wednesday that it and fellow telecom Clearwire Corp. have agreed to combine their wireless broadband businesses and form a new wireless communications company. Sprint said the new company will be named Clearwire and will focus on deploying a nationwide mobile WiMAX network for virtually all markets, including consumers, small businesses, medium and large enterprises, public safety organizations and educational institutions.     Name Intelligence Acquired By Domain Name Firm
    Seattle-based Name Intelligence, a provider of domain name tools for domainers and domain name owners, has been acquired. Los Angeles-based Thought Convergence, a provider of tools for the domain industry, said it completed its acquisition of Name Intelligence Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Name Intelligence operates DomainTools, a collection of online tools for researching and buying domain names, and also runs the Domain Roundtable conference.     Blue Nile Names Former Starbuck Exec Stolzman CFO
    Seattle-based online jeweler Blue Nile Inc. reported Tuesday that it has named Marc Stoltzman its next chief financial officer. Blue Nile said Stolzman, whose official start date will be June 9, will supervise the company's accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury and investor relations.
