    Ontela Gets Win At Alltel Wireless


    Seattle-based Ontela, a provider of software for uploading pictures from cell phones to web albums, has launched its services with wireless carrier Alltel Wireless. Alltel Wireless announced PhotoCopter, a photo upload service powered by Ontela, as a paid service for its customers on Wednesday. Alltel said its new PhotoCopter service, which will be available to its customers for $2.99 a month, will provide unlimited picture transfer of cell phone photos to web photo albums, including Photobucket, Flickr, Blogger, and Snapfish. Ontela is venture backed by Hunt Ventures, Oak Investment Partners, and Voyager Capital. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
