    Pacific Edge Software Acquired By Serena


    Bellevue, Washington-based Pacific Edge Software has been acquired by Serena Software. Financial terms were not disclosed. Pacific Edge is a provider of project and portfolio management software, used for change control at companies. The firm's Pacific Edge Mariner is used for portfolio, project, resource, demand, and financial management. Serena said that the acquisition is expected to close by the end of this month. Pacific Edge is backed by Foundation Capital, Newbury Ventures, Northwest Venture Associates, and Sequoia Capital.
