Parallels Plugs Macs Into Microsoft Enterprise
Renton, Washington-based Parallels is looking to help corporations manage their Macs, with a new plug-in for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Parallels said the new plug-in, Parallels Management, helps companies manage the growing number of Macs on their network, allowing them to manage and control those devices, control those devices much as they would their PCs, and help secure those devices. Parallels said the new software costs $30 per Mac per year. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager is widely used by enterprises to manage their PC installations.
