Pressplane Gets $3.5M For Zapd

Seattle-based Pressplane, the firm headed by Kelly Smith and which is behind both Inkd and Zapd, has raised $3.5M in funding from Madrona Venture Group, Second Avenue, and RealNetworks' Rob Glaser, the firm said today. Glaser joins the firm's board as part of the funding. Zapd is an online service which makes it very easy for users to create web sites, using an iPhone app. PressPlane launched its iPhone app in March.
