Portland-based Media measurement and research firm Rentrak revealed this morning that it has been designated as the official television measurement service for WealthTV. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Rentrak said its services, which utilize information gathered from millions of set-top boxes, will provide an independent measurement of the lifestyle and entertainment network's program performance. In turn, Rentrak explained, those metrics will help WealthTV better evaluate its marketing strategies, report on advertiser delivery and fine tune its programming.
