Seattle-based Runic Games, a developer of PC entertainment software, reported today that it has launched a single player, action role playing game called torchlight. The firm said its title provides "dungeon-crawling, hack-and-slash enjoyment" and is available through its site and major gaming distribution sites. Runic Games team previously worked on Mythos, and were at Flagship Studios. The company is headed by Max Schaefer.
