Redfin Sets Up Shop In San Francisco

Seattle-based Redfin has opened up its San Francisco offices, saying Wednesday that it has opened up a new office for software engineers and real estate agents in the Bay Area. The firm, which provides an online real estate brokerage, said that it will continue to run engineering and real estate from Seattle, but will use the new office to support its national expansion plans. The firm said that it hosts three engineers and three agents in the new offices, with room for a dozen at its offices. Redfin is backed by BEV Capital, Madrona Venture Group, The Hillman Company, and Vulcan Capital.
