F5 Introduces Targets Microsoft Applications

Seattle-based F5 Networks announced today that it has a new network that the focuses on Microsoft applications. F5 said that its new application delivery network will provide a network architecture and infrastructure optimized for 2007 Microsoft Office systems, including Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Exchange Server 2007, and Live Communications Server 2005. F5 is a manufacturer of Internet traffic management products that optimize network traffic for specific applications. F5 said its new Microsoft network helps improve client application response time, lower infrastructure and operation costs, and provides better availability for Microsoft applications.
