RadioFrame Rolls New Product

Redmond, Washington-based RadioFrame Networks, a provider of products for the wireless communications industry, said Monday that it has announced a new product for cellular operators using the iDEN protocol. The firm said that its new Outdoor Pole Mount (OPM) microcell product provides telecom operators with a product which can be mounted on power, telephone, and other poles. iDEN (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) is used for cellular connectivity, and is based on technology from Motorola. The wireless protocol is currently being used by Sprint Nextel.
