Crisp Thinking Upgrades Software

Crisp Thinking, a publisher of software that allows parents to monitor their children's online activities, reported Monday that it has released the latest version of its flagship IMSafer application. The U.K.-based company, which has its U.S. headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., said its latest version of IMSaferPlus is compatible with Windows and Macintosh systems and can immediately notify parents when their children encounter potentially dangerous online situations. Crisp Thinking said the application uses real-time analytic tools to examine and interpret all chat communication from every home computer to detect potentially threatening or predatory behavior. IMSaferPlus was originally developed by IMSafer, which Crisp Thinking acquired earlier this year. IMSafer was based in Beaverton.
