Yapta Taps Kayak For Flight Search

Seattle-based travel site Yapta.com is turning over responsibility for its flight search engine to travel site KAYAK, the firm told its users today. According to Yapta, it is integrating Kayak's flight search services into its own site, in order to provide a more comprehensive airfare tracking service. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Yapta claimed the move will allow it to expand tracking of prices for flights to "virtuall any" flight in the world. Yapta is venture backed by Voyager Capital, Bay Partners, First Round Capital, Swiftsure Capital, W Media Ventures and others.
