Tippr.com Launches In Honolulu

Seattle-based Tippr.com, the group buying startup headed by Martin Tobias, has launched itself into Honolulu, Hawaii, the firm said today. The firm said it will provide hyperlocal group buying to customers in Hawaii. The launch of the new city brings the company's total markets to ten. Tobias said he was "stoked" to be launching in Hawaii, since he's been a part time resident there since 2003. Tippr said that Tobias is headed to Oahu this Friday for a invite-only launch party at The Honolulu Design Center. Tippr is venture backed by RRE Ventures.
