DIY Media Takes On Music Ecommerce

Seattle-based DIY Media, a developer of social commerce software for the entertainment industry, said today that it has launched its first product, DIY Music. The firm said the product is aimed at musicians, labels, music pulisher, and distributors, allowing them to put up a digital storefront for social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, mobile phones, and more. DIY is using Amazon's Web Services for its backend. DIY Media is headed by David Robb.
