Trover Upgrades Mobile Discovery App

Seattle-based Trover, the mobile discovery app developer backed by General Catalyst Partners, Ignition Partners and Benchmark Capital, said this morning that it has upgraded its SoLoMo app. The firm said that it has added features like "Lists", which allows users to collect interesting things they'd like to see and do--such as restaurants they'd like to visit, destinations they would like to go to, and so on. The firm also said it has made it easier to follow friends and their latest activity through the app. Trover launched in April of 2011, looking to encourage people to share their neighborhoods, travels, and other locations. The firm was started by Jason Karas, founder of Carbonrally.com; Andrew Colham, formerly of Expedia.com; and Rich Barton, the founder of Expedia.com and Zillow. The firm's apps run on both iPhone and Android.
