Report: Salesforce.com Planning Major Portland Operation

A report late Friday from The Oregonian says that Salesforce.com, the customer relationship management (CRM) and cloud software provider, is planning to hire "hundreds" at a new Portland area operation. The report says that Salesforce.com chose the area because of an "incredible talent pool" and proximity to headquarters in San Francisco.
