Front Desk Finds $3.2M To Help You Manage Your Business

Seattle-based Front Desk, which is looking to help personal service businesses and franchises manage their business on their mobile phone, has raised $3.2M in a funding round, the firm said today. The seed funding was led by Second Avenue Partners, and also included Venture One Ventures, Rich Barton (Expedia, Zillow), Lloyd Frink (Zillow), and J.D. Delafield (Delafield Hambrecht Inc.). Front Desk is looking to help companies that provide personal services to other people, to mange things like scheduling, attendance management, billing, payment processing, and more. The company said it is targeting yoga studios, CrossFit gyms, personal trainers, doctors, and massage therapists to dog walkers, landscapers, tour guides, dance schools, music instructors and others. front Desk is led by Jon Zimmerman and Nicki Violetti.
