doxo Signs Another Utility Customer For Bill Service

Seattle-based online bill organization and payment service provider Doxo has signed on another utility customer, saying today that Rice Lake Utilities--a utility firm in Wisconsin--has signed up to use doxo for its online billing services. doxo said that the utility will be using the company's service to help its customers receive and pay bills online. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. doxo has been looking to make it easier for utilities to handle online billing and payment, helping them get payment faster--and reduce the big expense of sending paper mail and paper bills for those utilities and other service providers. doxo provides consumers with a digital filing cabinet of their bills, which can also be downloaded and backed up to things like Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive.
