Getty Images Launches Photos.com For Framed Prints

Seattle-based Getty Images is expanding into the photo printing business, launching a new site, Photos.com, which will offer up framed prints from its vast collection of photos directly to consumers. The site allows users to print from a selection of the company's library of photos onto canvas, paper, aluminum, and other surfaces, as gallery wraps, framed prints, and framed canvas. Getty Images said the move is part of an expansion into the consumer market. Getty is tapping New Era Portfolio for the framing and printing service.
