Munchery Dangles Free Meals In Seattle

Dinner delivery service Munchery is offering up free dinner to new users in Seattle, as part of its expansion into the market. The San Francisco-based company--which raised $28M in April specifically for the Seattle expansion--said that users who enter promo code SEATTLENOW at checkout will get their first meal, for free. Munchery runs its own kitchens to deliver what it says are "wholesome meals" directly to diners' doors. The service presents a selection of meals and sides each day to its users, who can decide whether or not to order those meals for same day delivery. The company's menu on Tuesday was headlined by "Ricotta and Green Pea Ravioli" with cherry tomatoes, Swiss chard, and pine nuts.
