Munchery Abandons Seattle Market

Munchery, a Silicon Valley-based provider of same-day delivery of pre-made meals aimed at those seeking fresh, healthy food, has shut down its operations in Seattle, the company said over the weekend. The company said that it shut down operations not just in Seattle, but also Los Angeles and New York, as part of a broad retreat to its home market in San Francisco. The company--based in San Francisco--said it will focus on growing its business solely in San Francisco.
