Amazon.com Planning Retail Store, Say Reports

Seattle-based Amazon.com--the antithesis of brick-and-mortar stores--is planning to open up a new, retail store in New York City, in a first for the company in its history, according to reports. The company apparently has taken over an entire building across from the Empire State Building, according to New York City real estate executives, with speculation that the company might be actually opening up a giant, retail store.
