Parallels Turns Raspberry Pi Into Full Virtual Desktop

Renton, Washington-based Parallels has rolled out new software which turns the inexpensive, Raspberry Pi computer into a complete virtual workstation for Windows, the company said this morning. The Raspberry Pi is a tiny, very low cost computer being used by many hobbyists for developing embedded computing applications. According to Parallels its RDP client for the Pi transformers its Parallels 2X Remote Application Server software into something users of the Raspberry Pi can used to access full, Windows desktops. The Raspberry Pi can be had for less than $40.
