Spaceflight Industries Gets GSA Contract

Seattle-based satellite launch provider Spaceflight said today that it has obtained a GSA Schedule Contract for its satellite launch services, a move that will make it easier for government agencies to tap into its services. Spaceflight said the move provides its services to federal agencies as a pre-negotiated, fixed rate. The company says it is the first launch services provider to join the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) schedule. The contract overs CubeSat and MicroSat launches. GSA contracts typically make it a lot easier for federal agencies to purchase services and products, and also reduce the amount of paperwork and steps for companies to provide their services and products to agencies.
