F5 Networks Aims At Internet-of-Things Market

Seattle-based F5 Networks, the developer of network traffic shaping and firewall appliances, says that it has rolled out a product specifically aimed at use in securing Internet-of-Things (IoT) equipment. According to F5 Networks, it has launched a new, firewall solution which specifically addresses the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), plus migration to 5G and NFV networks. F5 Networks said its Carrier-Class Firewall product will be available in Q3. Pricing on the product was not announced.
