Zipwhip Raises $9M

Seattle-based business texting software developer Zipwhip said on Monday that the company has raised $9M, in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Voyager Capital, and also included Microsoft Ventures, GCI and Inteliquent. The company--which says it just passed 100 employees--said it will use the funding to enhance its product offering and further grow the sales team. Zipwhip's software is used by businesses to respond to text messages. The company is led by John Lauer. More information »
