ICO Names Executive Staff

Kirkland-based ICO Global Communications, the provider of telecommunications services, said today that it has added a slew of new executives to the firm. According to the company--which is in the midst of renaming itself the Pendrell Corporation--it has named Robert G. Mechaley, Jr. as Chief Scientist, Timothy M. Dozois as Corporate Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and Mark Fanning as Chief People Officer. Mechaley was most recently Chief Technolog Officer and co-founder of Clearwire, and also has been Chief Scientist at AT&T Wireless. Fanning also has previously been at Clearwire and AT&T Wireless, along with Nextel Partners and McCaw Cellular.
