Micro Power Names Engineering VP

Beaverton, Oregon-based Micro Power Electronics reported today that it has named Ron Pitchel as the firm's new Vice President of Engineering and Continuous Improvement. The firm, which develops power supplies and battery systems for the medical, commercial, and military markets, said that Pitchel joins the firm with over 25 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. According to Pitchel's LinkedIn profile, he was most recently at Vertis Communications, and previously has also served at FastenTech, Aftermarket Technology Corp, and AlliedSignal.
