Micro Power Names New CEO

Beaverton, Oregon-based Micro Power Electronics, a developer of battery systems for the portable medical, handheld, and military market, disclosed today that Mike DuBose has been appointed chairman, president, and CEO of the firm. The company said that DuBose replaces Greg T. Love, who has left the firm to "pursue other opportunities." DuBose was most recently at Vertis Communications, and has also served at Aftermarket Technology Corp., Grimes Aerospace, and General Electric. Love had been at Micro Power since 2001.
