MicroVision Reports License Deal

Redmond-based MicroVision, which is developing ultra-miniature projection displays, reported Thursday that it has signed a multi-year license with its existing, Fortune Global 100 partner. The partner was not named, and neither were ful terms of the license extension, although the company said it received $8M in an up-front license fee as part of that deal. MicroVision said the deal was with an existing customer, who has been partnered with the firm since April of 2013.
