MicroVision Signs Taiwanese Patent Deal

Redmond-based projection display technology developer MicroVision announced today that it has signed a patent licensing agreement with a Taiwanese Original Design Manufacturer (ODM). Name of that ODM was not announced by the company, nor were any of the financial details of that patent deal. MicroVision said the agreement gives the ODM a license to make and sell Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) engines. The un-named ODM will pay MicroVision a royalty on each of those LBS engines sold by the company.
