IMDb Launches On Android

Seattle-based IMDB.com, the online movie, TV, and celebrity information site which is owned by Amazon, said yesterday that it has launched a new application for Android. IMDB said that the new IMDB Movies & TV app for Android allows users to discover, view, and share IMDB content on their Android phone. The firm also has a similar, iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad application. The firm said the new app is part of an effort to make its information available across not just the web, but onto emerging technologies and platforms. The application is free.
